We are sad to announce that member and former President Bob Mitchell has lost his wife and the the love of his life - Dorothy Mitchell, born Jan. 4, 1933, passed away Thursday, Jan 2, 2020.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan 7th at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway @ N. Eldridge Parkway.  5pm - 8pm

Funeral will be  at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 10688 Shadow Wood Dr. 10 - 11 am with burial following at 12:00 at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.

Yesterday morning we lost the matriarch of our family, my mom, Dorothy. Today she is free from the pain and suffering of her last six months. Free from the memory loss that caused her to worry. Two days short of turning 87 and 21 days short of celebrating 65 years of marriage. There will be more pictures and stories to share, but we are thankful we were able to enjoy one last not-so-traditional Christmas together. She saw her husband, kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids, FaceTimed with her sister and niece, and she laughed and danced. A life well lived by a woman well loved. Rest In Peace, Mommy. ??
